Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. No previous fitness experience needed! Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to entertain and engage baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom.
Stroller Strides classes meet Mon/Wed/Thurs/Sat on the following schedule:
Monday & Wednesday, 9:30am at Broadneck Park. Class meets near the playground. After entering the park, take the 2nd left into the parking lot near the playground.
Thursday, 9:30am at Navy Stadium Perimeter Trail. Park at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on the corner of Rowe Blvd and Farragut Rd. Then cross over Farragut Rd to the trail. Class meets near Gate #1 on the trail.
Saturday, 9:00am at Annapolis Towne Centre. Class meets in front of Charm City Run. Class starts at 9:00am (note the earlier time). All Saturday classes are Family Classes. Please feel free to bring along your significant other or another adult family member. All kids must be riding in a stroller.
In case of inclement weather, class will be moved indoors to Westfield Annpolis Mall. A notice will be posted on our Facebook page by 8am. If you are enrolled in class, you will receive an email notification if there is a class location change. Classes at Annapolis Malll will start 15 minutes earlier at 9:15am. If you're ever in doubt where class is being held, please feel free to email, call, text or message us!
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to the start time of each class.
